Description
SATB Chorus (divisi), Flute, and Piano or Harp
No other hymn is as well known or highly regarded in the Unitarian Universalist movement than “Spirit of Life” by Carolyn McDade. It deals with nearly all the key concepts cherished by this faith. Dale Warland has set this for solo flute, piano (or harp) and SATB choir. The divisi (8 parts in a few places) is perhaps the main challenge in what are otherwise very lyrical and approachable choral lines. Part of the Dale Warland Choral Series. Duration: 3:30
