“Shift” and its partner work set “Evensong” texts by Mary Virginia Micka. Both works were commissioned and premiered in 2007 by WomanVoice – a concert of music for women’s voices by women composers. The premier was conducted by Patricia C. Connors with Charles Parson, organist. It can be performed with organ or piano accompaniment.
