Joy to the World

Description

You haven't heard “Joy to the World” like this before! Dan Forrest reaches into his Irish traditional music experience to pair the well-known carol with a newly composed Irish slide, and the result is an explosion of joy that you simply must hear to believe! With piano four-hands, optional Irish traditional ensemble, and/or full orchestra.

Irish Traditional Ensemble includes D Whistle (or Piccolo), Fiddle (Violin), Guitar, Bodhran (or Hand Drum), Bass (upright or electric), and Accordion (or Concertina).

Full Orchestra includes the ensemble parts above and 2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 2 Bassoons; 2-4 Horns, 2 Trumpets, 2 Trombones, Tuba, Percussion, Timpani, and Strings.

Accompaniment CD for Joy to the World (Piano four-hands and full Irish traditional ensemble).

Piano Part, optimized for fewer page turns in performance. Removal of choral staves, letter-size paper, and layout with page turns in mind all make for an easier performance experience for the two pianists.
