I’ve been working on this book for nearly 2.5 years. For quite some time I’ve wanted to create an album and book that would be help someone heal. As I started trying to select songs that I felt would fit, I considered more than 45 songs and whittled them down to 11 songs that I felt would take the listener on a journey. My goal was to take a person on a through multiple feelings and a “healing journey” with each song. I wanted each song to stand alone as a great song, but when combined together I wanted the series of songs to leave the listener feeling relaxed and eliminated any anxiety they might have been feeling.
About this book
Years ago as a teenager trying to avoid practicing piano, I would have never believed that someday I would be writing and recording piano music, let alone have the music be the way that I was able to support my family. As I’ve written music over the years, I’ve tried to write what I felt during different life experiences. Songs come to me at various times and I’ve been lucky enough to have had the ability to write many of them down and then share them with others.My hope is that these songs will help someone to relax and heal from whatever struggle they might be going through. Where it is physical or emotional pain they might be struggling with. Music has a special way of helping us all connect and somewhat reset our emotions to a more relaxed place. I hope this music is helpful for others in the healing process.
