Description
Flute, oboe, and hand drum accompany this anthem, which uses the traditional text but the early American tune GREENVILLE. The vocal parts are spare and elegant to go with the lineage of the tune; the middle verse has the tenor bass section functioning as a drone/ostinato. A key change leads to the final verse “When we've been there ten thousand years.” Fun and different. Duration: 3:30
