Nadia Boulanger's short, but exquisitely beautiful, setting of words from the last section of the Requiem mass is a highly spiritual work that reaches deep into the soul of the listener. A lightly pulsating quarter note accompaniment contrasts with finely crafted, melodically driven vocal lines.
